Hawker School Project

This project aims to connect local kids to the bush and to learn the Aboriginal and Western Scientific stories that lie behind the landscape and its wildlife.  The program will immerse primary and secondary kids in the local environment, teaching bush skills: how to navigate in the bush; identifying bush foods, traditional cooking; learning the Aboriginal and western names of different species and how to track them.
